And now sure how any of these moves help. PJ has been bad for the Oilers this year, Leafs don't do that trade. Not sure if even Hathaway helps, after all the Leafs still have Simmons.
That's way too much to give up for a 3rd liner centre on the Leafs and a 7th Dman. Horvat and Schenn
Yeah the Leafs would be better this year with the addition of Horvat, but hardly worth a years worth draft picks, and Niemela and Hirovan.

Hathaway is worth more than a 3rd round pick (even if WAS is out of contention by then)

Horvat is a nice PC, but a lot of assets to give up.
