Uhhh...NO. Seattle hangs up the phone on both Vancouver and Anaheim before they even finish their proposals. There's no way the Kraken are giving up large chunks of their future and a cornerstone of the present team to go "all-in" with such lopsided deals.

Do you guys want to win or "maybe" have these prospects figure it out. Win now for Seattle.

I like seeing massive deals like this but would never in a million years work and if for some odd reason it went thought id support Seattle fans going on strike and not attributing to the teams revenue until Francis was fired

There's a difference between win now and gutting your roster. Beniers is one of the main reasons the Kraken are as successful as they are; trading him along with the other roster players, not to mention the picks and prospects involved, completely undermines the whole point of "going for it" in the first place. Although the current team might be better, I don't think these trades even as they are make Seattle a guaranteed cup contender, and it would leave them without avenues for further improvement.

Kraken and Canucks are basically crosstown rivals, there are never blockbuster deals with your neighbors.

Absolutely HORRIBLE deals for the Kraken. And with intra-divisional rivals, too.

The most we're asking for Klingberg is a second-half-of-the-round first and a prospect/player like Borgen, and I can't see Seattle being interested in a rental anyway.

The idea that Seattle would trade Beniers, Wright and their 2023 first for two rentals and a struggling goaltender is troll-level, never mind the other FIVE elements.

I mean obviously Canucks accept but why does Seattle do that?
