    Toronto wouldn't consider the first offer for a minute and Arizona would take less time to reject the second.

    The Jake Muzzin deal is just his contract. They would take it to help them reach the cap floor, like they do every off-season.

    Yes, Muzzin can block that he has an NMC that becomes a NTC next July, if he has any wish to play again he's staying in Toronto where he has his best chance at winning another cup.

    this is under the assessment that he won't be playing again.

    you do realize Muzzin stays on LTIR if he's still injured, which odds are he's done, right?

    Good to see that Oilers can have higher cap than other teams.
    IF Muzzin remains on LTIR forever (which is unknown now) makes no difference to the Leafs if Muzzin is traded or not. If Muzzin might return sometime, he isn't waiving for Arizona.
