For Wilson it would be a ton. By himself he'd get a 1st+top prospect, but to send him to a divisional arrival, you'd have to throw on a bigger piece as well.

Yea I’d say that’s pretty fair. However, I feel like due to him only having 1 year left, it would probably just be the top prospect (most likely Holtz) and the 1st

San Jose would want at least the Fiala return if it’s offseason

Unless his demand is too high or NJ drastically over pays I really don't see them trading him.

I could see Caps accepting but they already said they aren't rebuilding while Ovi is playing so don't think they would move Wilson anyways unless he says he won't resign or something like that.

Wilson's not moving unless it's a large offer. I'd personally like to get Seamus Casey out of a Tom Wilson trade, but that's just me.

To trade wilson in division and while ovi is still playing it would take something way too big for the devils, and not just futures either. like bratt + level

agree his value is highest now before the deadline but offseason it will drop obviously, especially if he's being reluctant to sign an extension. Still not the same cap crunch situation that MN had with Fiala though

Well I think Bratt is probably a stretch, but any combo of a 1st, Holtz, Casey, Mercer, Zetterlund, Mukhamadullin, Daws or Stillman is a good start. I would assume Nemec is off the table
