Schenn actually has more value than people think. He’s a throwback defenseman that brings an element to the Sabres that we don’t have enough of. He’s a hard hitting, physical, crease clearing defenseman who can still log some tough minutes if called upon, he’s probably worth w second alone because of what he brings, and his experience.

For Boeser, I don’t a lot of people understand what he does because people don’t see enough of him out East. He’s a PP specialist, and trigger man with a great shot, but a bigger salary and not great at 5 on 5, but he’ll at least go to the net occasionally unlike Olafsson. Probably be better off keeping Mittelstadt because of the versatility to play center or wing, and if he has better linemates, he’s decent, but nothing spectacular.

Needless to say COL isn’t trading Byram and if they were that sure doesn’t even remotely come close.

Trade mittelstadt for schenn, add the second if necessary. No interest in boeser, and Colorado isn't touching that Byram deal.

Avs say no, but we shouldn’t be targeting a LD2 anyways
Also don’t see why we should want Boeser

That 3rd line doesn’t look good or make much sense either

Not a great job here dude

I think sam Girard would be a likely target with Col if there would be a trade. Olofsson would need to be 50% to make a deal

Nah, we have puck movers. We need a guy (or two) with size that knows how to play in his own end, preferably physical.

100% agree i was looking at guys like rasmus anderson (Cal)or ryan lindgren(NYR). But if we where to make a trade with colorado it would be Sam Girard
