Megna while nothing more than a depth player has actually been a nice positive for us while playing top 4 min plus has good size and grit. Jones is similar to Ferraro in size and ability and therefore would be kind of redundant so sorry but no thanks.

fair, and once Knyzhov comes back from injury sharks might be willing to move Megna since sharks will then have Vlasic Ferraro Megna Knyzhov Simek and Harrington all on the left side and only Karlsson and Benning on the right
so sharks would be willing to move assets for a RD or for picks

Halak has NMC, he's not waiving & moving to be 3rd fiddles somewhere. Once Blais game is back up, we could get that yet we'll need his size. Megna would be 1 for 1, although we already have him in Harper. Pass on Kane. Already maxed out cap, this puts us -3m next year, means shedding more. Kurashev is not worth a raise and is not a C while Chytil is.

I know And I agree they need more faceoff winning center. I'm just not a fan of having two more 30 + people in NYR, but again it will only been rentals it would be okay.

Everyone thinks Kane is the perfect fit for NYR except Rangers fans. Probably because of the asked price. Two 1st is a lot to give.

I think they should go all in this year. They have the assets to pick up some good rentals and go for a cup. Don't waste Panarin and Kreider last few good years.

If NYR doesn't it should tell you something already. And the team isn't playing like last year so they definitely shouldn't go all in.

And in their prime Panarin + Kane wasn't able to win a cup. Nothing really tells that it would happen now either. Btw they played together the stretch CHI where wining cups, just not with those two playing together.

That Kane trade would be a bit underwhelming, but I'm at the point where I'm not as concerned with trade values as I am with making sure we finish dead last. The most important thing at this point for CHI is ensuring we have the best possible odds at landing Bedard in the draft. Everything else is gravy.

Chicago can “want” whatever they want but if Kane only wants to go to NYR then it brings down his value not to mention his production has dropped off quite a bit this year and his analytics are god awful
