That Buffalo trade is realistic.

At the deadline I could see a contender perhaps paying a first for Monahan.

Nobody in their right mind should pay a first for Edmundsen, not that it won't happen though.

That trade makes zero sense for the cap strapped Calgary and I have no idea why anyone would trade for Anderson at all.

You are not getting a first for Edmunson in my opinion. A second and maybe a lower class prospect for sure. Allen is not worth that, Asplund could be top 5 Selke in the very near future and I don't think Buffalo would want to give that up also Comrie is a solid backup and in general I just don't think Allen is worth all of that. I do think if it was just Allen for a second or even a third round pick with a lower class prospect.

( Asplund was 19th in voting last year )

I wrote any team. A B+ prospect and à 3rd. Anderson will be better with another coach than St. Louis.

In what world is Pelletier a B+ prospect?

Lololol
Jake Allen & his 3 years in a row of declining stats aren’t gonna be of interest to us (or anybody)
Especially not for a 2nd round pick
His save% is under .900 & he’s a 32 year old under contract for 2 more years after this

Not only is there ZERO CHANCE the Sabres would give up a 2nd for him- we wouldn’t give up ANY of those pieces for Allen

Maybe u can find a team to take him for a low round pick
MAYBE

It won’t be the Sabres though
He has no trade value at all imo & this trade proposal is bananas

Can't think of a dumping multi year contracts....say "any team". Looks like the author couldn't find a suitor either. Brutal for Calgary acquiring Anderson.

Not many top 4 defenseman available at trade deadline this year. Edmundson is the next best thing after Chychrun and Gavrikov.

I think getting a 1st for Edmundson will be easier than getting a 1st for Monahan.

Right, and you’re trying to trade him to Buffalo- which there is a ZERO % CHANCE of happening
