Minnesota isn't giving up anything for cap dump and winger, bottom line one at best they don't need. Craig wouldn't play in MIN

I have bad news for you: Pat Verbeek is on record as having a severe aversion to smurfs, so Ahcan and Steen are out. Shattenkirk with a full 50% retention plus the Colorado second and our 2023 fifth should get us the Boston first and your 2023 fourth.

Why would Detroit do this? Inconsequential moves, but where does Reilly fit, and why would Detroit trade down picks?

Detroit has no use for Mike Reilly, We already have better LD playing now than Reilly. And we sure as hell aren't giving up Chase Bradly and a 4th round pick for someone we could've just plucked off waivers a month or so ago.

None of the players coming our way really tickle the fancy. Your 8th or 9th D man, a NCAA kid going to Boston college (convince me he doesn't go 4 years at NCAA and then sign with you as a FA), and a 5'9" defensive forward with limited offensive upside.

The pick is obviously alluring but it's going to be what, 5 spots ahead of Anaheims 2nd round pick? And we're giving up a defensive forward with size we like and a 3rd, plus a 50% retained rental.

We're not particularly interested in moving Lundestrom at the moment. He's young and can continue to grow with the team.

Insanely hard pass from Detroit. Don't want Reiley for free.

I’ll go a step further and say we don’t want Reilly for a fee.

Detroit have Chiarot, Walman, Määttä, Oesterle. Hägg on the roster and Edvinsson, Johansson, Viro, Sebrango, McIsaac in Grand Rapids and Wallinder and Buium on our reserve list.

Why are you thinking that Detroit would pay assets for yet another LD?
