Description

Horvat and Kuzmenko don't/won't resign and are traded.
Boston is all in this year and probably extends Bo as well. Maybe more coming back in that case, but this would be the likely minimum.
Kuzmenko goes to his second choice. Edmonton pays a premium for the combination of a divisional trade, ELC and production. Pulu for Dermot is essentially a cap dump and allows them to save face in a bigger trade while shoring up their blueline to some degree. Could be Stillman instead, but why would they?
Carolina pays pennies on the dollar for Garland.
Schenn gets another cup run with his old mates.
The rest are cheap depth adds for playoff/bubble teams.
Brossoit trade clears a contract and cap for Vegas so they can add at the TDL.

Canes can't afford Garland, you'd have to retain and I suspect Vancouver isn't doing that

Dude Boston isn't dealing Lysell for a rental in Bo Horvat, They don't have the financial means to sign both Horvat and Pastrnak who would cost a combined $20,500,000 long term for 8 years apiece.

Lysell isn't happening. Boston doesn't have a NEED for center this season. There is no reason to waste a 1st + prospect for a guy you don't need and could sign as a UFA (assuming he makes it). That's just terrible asset management by Boston. Vancouver would also have to take cap back in order for Boston to even fit Bo in this season.
