I would personally like to see the Jackets sign a vet dman to a two year contract even if it means overpaying by a little. I look at the above defense and can't figure out who is going to tutor the kids on some of the finer points of being an NHL dman because it sure as heck is not Gudbranson.

I’m not saying this isn‘t what I would, I’m just saying it’s a pretty sad sad offseason and that the d core is still terrible.

I’d love to see them finally win the lottery and get Bedard, and move out Bean and Boqvist to get better defensive defenseman. I’d also think they could get a better return for Roslovic, and I’m not sure Jiricek is NHL top pair ready, we need to be patient and not rush him and the other younger player like Sillinger and Johnson if they aren’t ready yet.
