considering Vlasics buyout is very affordable starting this year I see no reason for SJ to retain on a trade for him. his buyout is only 1.69 mil for four more years. much cheaper than this.

it is affordable but will kind of suck from 24-25 season and 25-26 season where it would be a 4.1mill and 5.1 mil cap hit.

The Islanders probably aren’t trading Raty in any deal. But the idea they would take Vlasic back and deal Raty is just absolutely ludicrous imo. It would create a massive cap issue and kill their entire future. No way in hell would ownership greenlight this. No matter how much Ledecky insists Lou is his guy, he isn’t letting him do something this ****ing stupid for his organizations future.
