Canucks easily pass. 2023 1st + one of Niemela/Minten is needed at least

Individually I don't mind any of the trades but that's a complete mortgage of the future

Nylander can play both sides so Yes a LW is preferred but for the right player a RW will do

Canucks decline. Not only is that an underpayment, but it also doesn't fit the Canucks needs at all.

Seriously made that Canucks trade and thought "yep, that is exactly what the Canucks need"

Holl is 18 months younger than Gudas and has spent a total of 12 days on the injured list over his four-plus seasons with Toronto, during which time he's played 247 games with the team. Gudas would have to be introduced to everyone in the locker room and spent the month of December suffering from the effects of a concussion which, as we all know, is a danger to recur. Toronto is in a tie with 5 other teams for 4th though 9th in the NHL in goals against, and Holl is tied with T. J. Brodie for second on the team in time on ice having played in all 44 games while Brodie has missed 16. I can see the idea behind adding Radko Gudas for the stretch run and the playoffs, but I can't see the logic in starting Gudas over Holl if you get both of them, let alone exchanging one for the other.

I would agree to 1st + Niemela for Horvat or even a package including 1st, Niemela + Pontus Holmberg (promising young C ) with a later pick (3rd?) coming back to Leafs . Would that interest you?

Canuck’s hang up the phone laughing shaking their head… need way more and Leafs don’t have what the Canucks are looking for in a Horvat trade.. no offence

Just why? Kane and Horvat are great (I don't think either team accepts this offer) but are they really what the Leafs need? Pure goal scorers and pure rentals? Do we even know is Horvat is good in the playoffs? Why don't we go with cheaper options to increase depth and boost the defence?
