Description

Oilers have had scouts at the last 2 Columbus games, I imagine they're mainly scouting Gavrikov, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that they're interested in Nyqvist.

A 1st and Petrov are the main pieces going from Edmonton, but perhaps Puljujarvi can regain his scoring touch playing with his buddy Laine. Maybe the Oilers still need to give up more, if so just let me know. (I based this package off the Savard trade from Columbus)

Bonino has a slight connection to Edmonton as I've been told his girlfriend is from here. He's a good penalty killer and face-off guy. If the salary retention is an issue for San Jose that's okay, the deal can work without the retention, clearly Holland doesn't mind a 21 man roster lol

Obviously as an Oilers fan I wouldn't like this, but I'm factoring in Ken Hollands ability to overpay for rentals, and his desperation to find a top 4 dman that the team could actually afford under the cap
