I want to be making this post and I don't. Bedard to the islanders has never seemed like a possibility at all. But as of lately if we keep up this pace we will be in the race for bedard.

Bedard or Fantilli would be just what this team needs. Not worth waiting for Michkov imo given how long it’ll take for him to come over from Russia and the current roster makeup.

As of now they do have a shot. The worst 11 teams have a shot and they are in the 11th spot and with Detroit being in the 10th spot I say they have a pretty good chance. Since the only way Detroit moves in the lottery is backwards.

The thing that gets me is 3yrs before drafting DiPietro the drafted Luongo with the 4th overall pick.

If we want Bedard it is very simple: trade sorokin. We wouldn’t win a game for the rest of the season plus get a massive haul for him

Mitchkov would actually be perfect. The only players worth keeping on the current roster are barzal, Raty, Wahlstrom, Dobson - the other players shouldn’t even be taken into consideration when deciding the isles future
