I really thought you would being going after ROR from st louis.

id like ROR but i think the price tag will be too high for a guy that has been really trending down the last two years plus we'd need a third team to eat some cap and in the div i don't see them giving him cheap to us

Elliotte friedman has said Toews is worth a second round pick. i have to think ROR is the same because he is having a terrible season.

A 2nd and a 6th is probably enough for Domi, but as was stated above, with the 2nd being a 2025 pick, this offer likely gets beat by a team with '23 picks.

There was a rumour that avs have a 2nd and kaut on the table for toews right now, seemed like the hawks like kaut, that’s a base offer come deadline, if toews decides to waive wonder how close it is to that rumour offer on the table

If the Hawks liked Kaut I would think they'd claim him on waivers. Not saying that isn't the offer on the table but would think it might have a different forward in the deal.

They can still like a guy and not claim them bc it might force them to waive a guy etc to make room for them

At times we have seen teams trade for a guy l who just cleared waivers a week before bc now they are in the ahl and it’s more valuable at the time. Blues and oilers did that just recently with klostin after he cleared waivers

The rumour was back in early Dec. so it’s out of date, ar the time I believe kaut was in the ahl when this was mentioned in avs rumor circles, like I said would be interesting how close the deal would be to the rumour
