It's not a bad offer and I agree Zadorov's value has increased, but it doesn't make sense for the Flames unless they flip those assets for an even better LD, like Chychrun and then acquire another cheaper Big Physical Shut Down Penalty Killing D-Man if Dennis Gilbert can't fill that role himself.

Big-Z has been an important player and leader for us this season and if we didn't use the highly skilled small RW in Matthew Phillips, we likely don't need and will not use Isak Rosen either

I think the value's good but I don't get it from either side - I can't see the Flames shipping out a top-4 guy when they're actively chasing a playoff spot, and I can't see Buffalo giving up a recent 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder in this year for a year and change of a guy who you have on the third pair here.
