We can get better for Dumba. So no thanks! Dallas will give us the 3rd overall for him or Drouin from TB.

Not sure if the Hawks could sign Haula even at the league minimum (he surely is worth more than that!).

I agree but I see Chicago dumping a good amount of salaries this offseason. But if they don't you're absolutely right!

Sadly, hey?! With today's signing it does appear TvR is on the move with Kruger. At least one more significant salary may still have to go, depending on the cap of course. And more ELCs/bargain hits will litter their lineup. Except for a miracle, looks like more of the same next spring. (3/6).

That trade with Toronto is just pure brutal. Aside from the fact that Nylander isn't going anywhere, and there's about a 33% chance that Dumba is (1/3 divided between Dumba, Brodin and Spurgeon), the cost for Dumba will be considerably considerably lower.

The only one of those trades that would happen is Scandella to Vegas in the expansion draft.

Nylander > Dumba
Hamilton for Granny doesn't make much sense for either team. Flames don't need to get smaller, Wild don't need $5.75m #4D.
Chi can't afford to pay the players they have. No need for them to add another one.

While Granlund is a great player, no way Flames trade Hamilton for another LHS forward, bare an elite RWer. Hamilton is extremely important to the Flames as he's their best RHD on both team and system by far.
