Description

Hoffman buyout. Dadonov buried. Edmonton get their defence improved. AVS get a 2C at decent salary and picks.
Draft 2023 possible picks.
Would like to have first pick for Bedard but let say the 3rd pick.
3rd pick Leo Carlsson. Possible good 3C if not 2C.
Mid pick Kasper Halttunen. Big left wing with talent.
Late pick Michael Hrabal depth in goaltending. Compete with Portillo for number 1 goaler spot.
If NHL allows Mailloux to play in the league, he will most probably make the team.

monahan is not a complete centre, nor a 2C, he has always been poor defensively, he didntmagically become a 2 way centre 2c in 20 games for the Canadiens.
Toss in his lack lustre to poor skating, there isnt a lot that fits stylistically for the avs.

Hes just an option, not a solution to anything

Sabres could do something like that with Portillo,
or they could include him as part of a package for someone

The first is a good start, the remainder probably just needs to replaced with prospects that Winnipeg would be interested in.
