I don't think the Kraken are going to be selling off parts of their team for scraps when they're in a playoff position. Especially not ones like Bjorkstrand.

Detroit does not now, nor ever, want Foegle. Hard pass.

Why not? He is exactly the player his cap hit advertises.

Bjorkstrand isn’t fitting in Seattle, I think this could actually work as a change of scenery change. We have seen both players at their best at the nhl level and these teams just aren’t doing it for them.

I wouldn't say Bjorkstrand isn't fitting in Seattle, he's formed arguably the Kraken's most effective line with Gourde and Tolvanen. And that's no small feat considering the depth of the Kraken's forward corps. The only reason his goalscoring is down is due to an abnormally low shooting percentage, I'm sure his numbers will positively regress to the mean in due time. In the meantime he continues to do all the little things to help his team win that don't show up on the scoresheet. I seriously doubt the Kraken would entertain trading him for a relatively paltry return, let alone retain salary for three and a half seasons on top of that, and all just a half season after acquiring him. Bjorky is in Seattle for the long haul.

Because he is exactly the type of player that we have too many of as it is. He serves us zero purpose.

It's good to know that his play away from the puck continues to be criminally underrated after leaving the Jackets. Still sad they couldn't hold onto him.
