Motte will be worth more than that at the Deadline, sorry.

Also, Sens could keep him a good depth guy to have around in the bottom 6, even into next year in case the prospects don't fill roster spots.

Motte gets more

And STL definitely gets more than TWO cap dumps, Abruezze and a 1st TWO drafts away, even without retention.

Bear in mind what those teams will want, not just what you're willing to give.

There needs to be a better pick and a better prospect coming back to the Blues if we're also taking two cap dumps back and retaining nearly 50%.

Motte got a 4th last year in a worse draft during a better season and he wasnt worth that to the Rangers.
Also the leafs dont need bad 4th liners at all
