as a rangers fan, i think that offer straight up for vlad is all we get. he's having a down year, but if they're retaining 50%, that's all the rangers are gonna get

If Detroit doesn't extend Sunny, that's fair. Hájek is just a cap dump to us, but that's fine.

I think we could do better than Mikkola on the LHD. Otherwise I’m down.

I don't think this team goes further than it would not doing anything at the TDL. That 2nd line is a 3rd line on a good team and that top line has one guy that plays a 2 way game. The bottom 6 is solid though. If that ends up being the price for Tarasenko (it won't be), it's not worth it. Especially playing GG hockey.

I think we could too but the price may be too high and do we really want to pay that for a third pair d man? Think Mikkola is an upgraded version of Harpur and that’s working for Schneider

You think the price will be higher for Vlad? He’s got a full no move clause. Panarin can be a solid back checker when he commits to it

Center depth in the organization is a big issue for us. Think they’d prefer to part with wingers first. Going to need to move Kravtsov to get his money off the books

I’ve been beating Jaycob Megna to death. Mikkola also makes almost 2 million bucks and every dollar matters I think. Megna we could get for an extra year too at 800k I believe. But yea, plenty of D depth out there we donot need to go crazy there imo. We need a RW for Panarin over anything else

Like the Megna idea as long as the price isn’t too steep. We may need another cheap d man with our cap issues next year. Agree on the Panarin rw and that’s what I’d like to keep our higher picks for

No, I will be surprised if anyone gives a 1st round pick in this deep draft to rent a winger with injury history, over 30, who doesn't play D. I wouldn't trade Kravstov for him 1 for 1 with retention. Kravstov plays D.
