POJ, Picker, and next 3 1sts would still be bad for Zona because it doesn't line up for their timeline--they don't have any need for forwards at all

Future and past 1sts =/= current 1sts in value

You don't trade this year's first for next years first straight up and most unproven 1st round draftees won't receive a 1st straight up

PIT doesn't have the assets to make Chych work but should try for Ghost if he's not destined for LA or FLA

POJ, Pickering, and 3 1sts is ubserd. That's why I said in the description "I'm not sure why or how were linked to Chychrun". However POJ, Pickering, 3 1sts is absolutely brutal for the pens. Either way I hope we dont go for him. It ruins our chances in trying to change up the bottom 6. What would be the ask on Ghost?

I'd take it but I really like Bleuger so I'm likely biased.

Kinda a lose-lose tbh but Pens would prolly beat NJD/TB in East with Chych pushing their D scoring and their depth down. His metrics are underrated because ppl seem to think he's "only an O-Dman" but he has almost as many points per as McAvoy with 1/3 the PP production. Chych is a +6 on a -46 team.

Ty Smith has no value to Zona, send him [and hopefully Carter] to VAN for Garland/Boeser?

Ghost's metrics since coming to Zona have been proper, he's been top line RD with Chych this year and leads all UFA dmen in most metrics. He rotates with Chych in OZ, their chem is great. He should return 1 week before TDL so we'll see how he plays healthy then, but....

at 50% he should net a 1st or 3rd + a dece prospect [like POJ or Pickering because who's trading a 1st for them?]

I think Ghost for Durzi in LA would be a win-win... comparing their metrics Ghost >> Durzi in every cat cept hits

I'd do Kapanen, prospect, 2nd for Ghost with some retention. Kapanen has that extra year so you can flip him either this year or in the offseason

No need or spots for forwards at all

Kapanen and Ty Smith are perfect for VAN, see if VAN fans would take them for Garland/Boeser

If Ghost returns healthy and plays as well or better he'll receive 1st ez

That's the thing though, Vancouver doesnt have much players of interest to us. Boeser would be the only guy imo

Ty and Kap are only worth anything to VAN, so offer them something

Why not Garland? Even Kuz CAN be traded. Demko is risky, Quinn would be expensive.

Garland on a meh contract and I'd rather Boeser if we can get some retention. Dumoulin would have to be traded and I think a few teams would be interested. Also Arizona could use Kapanen as a trade piece. Hes only 26 and with that extra year you can retain half to get an even bigger return. If the pens were to get Chychrun or Ghost (unlikely on Chychrun) Dumoulin or Kapanen would have to be in the deal to make cap work

Too much junk going for chychrun. They want the two firsts at the very least.
