I heard Edmundson has really slowed down as of late whether its injury or age. A first round pick for him would be outragous.

I don’t think it’s easy to estimate what the worth is. Based on 2 years ago he would be sought after but when was the last time he even did up skates? Can’t imagine anyone paying for him with term unless he’s back in the next few days/weeks to demonstrate his value

Pretty sure it the recent injury. It looks like Habs don’t want him as he will be on the block at the deadline. I bet he goes for like a 6th.

I believe it's a lingering back issue but can't remember where I heard it.
He started the season late and that was probably too early, so he hasn't had the time to rehab properly.
No idea why he kept coming back in and re-injuring himself in a season that doesn't matter. Perhaps trying to show his value for a trade, but it ended up backfiring.
He may have been worth a 1st, but repeated injuries have lowered his value and he was never able to get up to speed after the late start to the season.

He's a bit of a risk at this point, but could be a bargain pick up for 2 playoff runs to a team willing to take that chance and let him get back to full health before this year's playoffs.
Conditional pick (games played/rounds won) and an expiring contract could work. A 1st/2nd if the conditions are met this season, deferred to a 2nd/3rd next year if the conditions are not met (or something along those lines). Mitigates the risk somewhat in case he's not fit for playoffs.

I don't see the Kings trading for Allen without another goaltender going back and the Kings are not going to include any draft picks just to upgrade to Allen

Absolutely shocking. Unless you actually put it into context, then it's not surprising whatsoever.
About as relevant as using Vasilevsky's 1 assist to assess his performance this year.

Not really. The median on MTL is 42.9%, almost 10% higher. In terms of goal differential on the team, he's the worst by a significant margin (-21 goal differential at evens through 39 games, next worst is -15 through 51 games)
