That wouldn't be enough for Meier that SJS has to eat another year of Goodrow as well.

Meier hasn't made his big contract yet and there's zero chance the Rangers can afford his $10M cap hit next year...Meier will just go UFA. There's a better chance you have of an already UFA like Kaner that would be willing to extend vs Meier signing for next year.

Habs says yes imo, Gorton drafted Kravtsov, and Kravtsov doesnt get the opportunities to showcase himself since the top 6 is set, and w a 2nd coming our way.
