Size isn't better. It's not a question of cap for the Leafs this season it's the 6m next season. Only way it works the cap works is if 4.7m Murray goes to the Canucks .
Not sure who Myers replaces in the top 6 that makes the Leafs better.
But really, what basis in fact is there to substantiate that the Leafs are interested in Myers. Please don't say the fantasy writers (aka sports writers) who need readership to keep their jobs.

Van would have to pay Toronto to take Myers like Ottawa did with Murray which would be funny as imagine if Myers became a proper top 4 Dman with them

Think a deal centred around 3 teams works best:

Canucks: 3rd round pick (from TOR)
Toronto: Myers at $1.5M
3rd party retention: 5th round pick (from VAN)

Essentially Canucks move up 2 rounds for retaining $3M on Myers
