I thought I saw a Wild fan say it works.
They do have some ELCs waiting in the wings too.
Getting Boeser at $5M ($1.65M or ~23% retention) works only if Greenway or Foligno (both at ~($3M), Goose, Hartman are shipped out with ELC taking their places.
KK ($9M)-Rossi ($0.87M)-Zucc ($6M)
Boldy ($7M)-FreddyG ($1.5M)-Boeser ($5M)
Duhaime ($1M)-Ek ($5.25M)-Foligno ($3.1M)
Shaw ($0.9M)-Dewer ($0.8M)-Walker ($0.9M)
Beckman or another cheap vet (0.9M) = $42.22M at FWD
Middleton ($2.45M)-Spurg ($7.575M)
Brodin ($6M)-Faber ($0.9M)
Merril ($1.2M)-Addison ($2M)
Schenn or another vet ($0.9M) = $21.025M
Flower ($3.5M)-Gus ($2M) = $5.5M
Dead caps $14.745M
Totals $83.49M
What actually would be great would be if Zucker (his family has to be in MN) signed for like 3/4 years at $3-4M. This would alleviate giving up assets for Boeser while potential to keep Hartman. Now if you moved Addison & Greenway in a Boeser deal rather than giving up picks, it could also work as you would be able to target Jake Livingston (rumored college ELC) or cheaper vet presence.
Needless to say, managing the cap will be difficult next year if the Wild want to get better.
