Garland is a great player, but the Jackets don't really have a need for more wingers. They're gonna have close to 20 with NHL experience going into next season as it is.

That pens trade is laughable for so many reasons. 1 Zucker would block any trade to Canada. 2. We do have to abide by the cap even if it was a good deal for the pens. 3. Miller is overpaid and Demko has been garbage and injured this year, why would they pay a lot for them?

Bruins say no to that. At this point in time Reilly will serve as depth for the playoffs whilst his cap is buried in Providence until then. 1st round pick would be used for an upgrade not a cap dump.
