Description

Vilardi was offered along with a 1st round pick last summer and Arizona turned it down. I'm sure they're regretting that decision right now.

That offer is no longer on the table due to Vilardi's breakout season, but the Kings might still consider it if Arizona was willing to take Petersen's contract.

This would be the only way they'd get Vilardi. He was supposedly the desired target by Arizona in the off-season. HIs value has jumped enormously since then.

I don't think it would take a 1st to dump Petersen's contract. It's not that bad.

I think Vilardi + 2nd for Chychrun would be a fair swap though. Throwing in Petersen bumps the 2nd to a 1st.

Coyotes risk injury prone Chychrun getting injured before the trade deadline. That's what happened to Mike Green when he played for Detroit.

Red Wings fans were expecting Holland to trade him for a 1st round pick. He got injured a week before the trade deadline and they got nothing.
