Drop the 5th and add Bonino. Sharks aren't moving picks. Make it the 2023 1st as well. We don't need or want Mete.

So what? He put up 35 Goals/80 points last year. He's on pace for 44G and 93P this year.

Leafs fans are so bizarre.

I figure SJS needs a cheap warm body on D after they retain on EK65 and buyout Vlasic.

Nylander asks for $11+ and Leafs will have to say no.

If Meier can be signed for around $9, well.... read between the lines.

Not really Meier might have that $10 qualifying offer, but majority believe he won't sign at that amount.

Nylander's last contract negotiations was him asking for Draisaitl money while the Leafs were offering Elhors money, almost $3 million apart and 4 months holding out.

You don't really have to worry about it. When Matthews leaves you'll have a ton of cap space.

Another reason for my swap Meier for Nylander theory, Nylander might be a prick and wait to see what Matthews gets in his contract and try to get max value on his own.

Meanwhile you can negotiate Meier before Matthews and prepare for the future.

Why would we buyout Vlasic when were not competing for the next couple years anyways. Makes no sense at all
