Description

My values may be completely off seeing as I’m not too familiar with SJS’s prospects overall, but I like Cardwell’s game/compete level and SJ seems to have decent C depth with Bordeleau, Bystedt, and Lund all likely ahead of him.

-I think Holtz, Muk, and a 1st = 50% retention on Meier
-An unproven 20yo C prospect and a 4th = Sharangovich whose game has stagnated a bit if he isn’t playing with Hughes

Judging from the hits NJD has had in the mid to later rounds of the draft the last couple of years, I’d love to have their scouts get a second crack in the 4th round after missing a 1st and 3rd this year.

Also, no idea if a 31yo rental for a 23yo RFA is fair. Walsh might be able to get more as part of a package elsewhere, but who would have to add (and what would they have to add) for this trade in particular?

I mean, the value is fine with Walsh, but he's not really a fit for what they need.

-Walsh should be pkg'd to NSH with stuff to try and get Jeannot. Fabbro is not going to be there next yr as Nsh fans have bantered about
Apparently our other D men have been asked about. Not by name specifically but that is: Bahl, Okhotiuk, Walsh, Casey (I think).

The devils don't need 50% retention in this case as you can see they would have 3.3. million in cap space after these moves

Jeannot has cooled off alot this yr. He'll get paid but not based off of last yrs #s.
