I don't mind this at all. Takes the pressure of public opinion off Knies being a playoff saviour, too. I would likely swap their positions in the lineup- but just my opinion.

Not sure the value is there for NSH to retain, with a year remaining, though. But shouldn't take too much more to make that a viable possibility.

And? The point would be to have him kill penalties and take harder matchups, not score. You have players to score.

That bottom 6 needs some physicality, I'd love to see Jeannot there. Just don't know if Poile is willing to move him right now.

Every fan base has fools! Not only are goals not the only measuring stick of a player... he had 20+ just last year.

Making trades for goal scorers makes sense. Making trades for players that make your current goal scorers score more (or more consistently) makes just as much, if not more sense.
The fact that both players are former 20+ goal scorers, with size & grit should make them all the more attractive.
