CHI isn't getting quite enough, IMO. Plus, Heinola is good, but he doesn't really address any need for CHI. But I definitely don't hate the trade.

Hawks decline. They'll want a 2nd round pick for Domi. And I can't see the Hawks acquiring any more young left shot D men either.

Any chance the CHI and SJS trade can swap Heinola and McGroarty? I bring it up because the SJS have zero defensive prospects in the top 100 prospects per Hockey Writers. (yes yes it's NOT a gold standard, but something that can be a benchmark.) The Hawks have WAY too many defensive propsects and would like to add their their winger crop. Might be a win/win swap situation where both teams are more willing to agree.

I like the idea of adding Domi, not really interested in McCabe. He's good but the jets have a couple versions of McCabe already in Dillon and Samberg
