Considering the best possible value for the players:
Boeser + Schenn + ? = Skinner
Demko = 2024 1st round pick (BUF) + Luukkonen When has any GK returned more than a first, especially one who is currently injured
Garland + ? = 2023 1st round pick (BUF)
The balance of these are superfluous:
2023 2nd round pick (VGK)
2023 2nd round pick (BUF)
2023 2nd round pick (PHI)
2024 2nd round pick (BUF)
2025 2nd round pick (BUF)

The good old 10-4 trade. I'd love to see Demko become a Sabre though. He needs to get out of Vancouver.

Why would Buffalo trade our top-line forward who is outperforming both Boeser and Garland (nearly combined lol) and that many picks that is ridiculous. You aren't out to lunch, you are out on the Pegula's yacht eating a 9-course meal while watching the sunset

The fact that we don't have one? Sabres are 14th in expected goals against since the new year but 28th in actual goals against. The skaters are doing their job. The goalies couldn't stop a beach ball (yes UPL included). Demko has not played in 75 days, if the Sabres made this trade they would have Anderson and Comrie for at least the next two weeks.

No way, Demko isn't an Elite goalie, he isn't even in the top 10. And Skinner is way better than both of those forwards. Just awful!
Buffalo would do better to ride it out and continue to collect prospects.
While Buffalo has a great pool of future NHL players, not all prospects become productive NHL performers.
In 2014 Buffalo's prospects were ranked #1 where are Grigorenko, Fasching, Armia, Possler, Bailey and Baptiste?
Let's hope Savoie, Kulich, Rosen, Ostlund and any player picked this year will turn out better.
