intriguing move involving the rangers. my only problem is, that's a lot to give up to not get kane at 75%. if the hawks only retain 20%, it's more than likely a second and a conditional third (if that). IF the rangers acquire kane as 75% that's still asking a lot. maybe a first and a 3rd

Well, I love McCabe, but I just don't think he's a good fit for Granato's playing style.

I would be good with a second plus mittelstadt, but the extra second and jost is overkill.

The Hawks don't make any of these deals. Maybe the Rangers trade, but definitely not the other 3.

McCabe for mitts and a 2nd and you are good with that? Are we losing our minds here, does anybody even watch Chicago games. McCabe is the same guy he was 5 years ago with the sabres! he is a 4-5 guy at best and you want to give up Mitts and a 2nd.. If that is the case go grab Schenn for a 2nd and get a bettr dman that hits, plays better defense and has a mean streak!
