Not sure you'd need the plus, just retain enough to swap salaries and that should do it 1 for

Fabbro's shot, defensive awareness, and skating make him a clear cut upgrade over Holl, and Jeannot's physicality would be very welcome for our bottom 6, plus he's got some nice offensive upside.

That’s pretty substantial but with some of the injuries Holl has been playing with Rielly.

Good lord, the Kraken are a force to be reckoned with. That goal especially makes me want another defenseman that much more. Atleast we get to hear Lithium whenever Seattle scores 🤷‍♂️

NRD linked him to the Isles earlier. I think NYR probably has interest in him, but I want him to suit up for the Leafs. The upside is there, and he is an absolute wrecking ball.

As much as I like Mo, I agree with you here. It is not ideal to have him as our number 1. If we look at the last few Cup champs #1 defenseman, we see:

2022: Cale Makar
2021: Victor Hedman
2020: Victor Hedman
2019: Alex Pietrangelo

Morgan Rielly is none of those guys

7gp 3 goals 3 assists just didn't have the goaltending and depth scoring we need.

But in general injury hasn't don't him great buy since the break been better. If he can do what he did last playoffs this year post season will be fun

He was very good against Tampa and against MTL as well. He's just doesnt have that elite defensive instinct that those other guys do

In general we got other guys for that nothing wrong with a healthy blend

His offense and ability to play against top competitors makes things work
