Lots of good in this game and its good practice as it felt like a playoff game.

Saw some issues here and there but nothing to serious

Only concern is Dpairings as idk just doesnt feel right. Maybe Sandin coming back will ease things off a bit

They will have approximately $2.078M in cap space on a 21/23 man roster.

I wouldnt have minded but it would have meant Buntings gone and no ROR as NSH was never gonna retain

I like the Blues move as while pricey Acciari is someone we needed for the Bottom 6 and ROR is amazing and in the event one of Matthews or JT get hurt theres the insurance

Also got a feeling were getting a Lafferty + McCabe trade incoming

There was a lot of missed opportunities this past offseason for the Leafs. Wanted him then, wanted him now.

Michael Bunting will be 28 year old at the start of next season. I’m not sold on even resigning him unless it’s a 2-3 year deal.

In general we got no replacement for him as we dont know what Knies is gonna be

Got a feeling hes signing a 4 year 4-4.3mill deal but lets see.

Now that Nashville has seemingly embraced selling at this TDL, I'd be interested in Fabbro and Jeannot. Fabbro's shot, defensive awareness, and skating make him a clear cut upgrade over Holl, and Jeannot's physicality would be very welcome for our bottom 6, plus he's got some nice offensive upside.

Bunting - Matthews - Nylander
Tavares - OReilly - Marner
Engvall - Kampf - Jarnkrok
Jeannot - Acciari - Aston Reese

Rielly - Liljegren
Brodie - Fabbro
Sandin - Giordano

I’m not as high on those two players but I will be disappointed if we don’t take advantage of Matthews, Tavares, O’Reilly, Kampf down the middle.

That’s not a bottom six that can score IMO:
Engvall - Kampf - Jarnkrok
Jeannot - Acciari - Aston Reese

I will take our top six against anyone:

Bunting Matthews Nylander
Jarnkrok Tavares Marner

Creating a 3rd line with O’Reilly that can drive play and score is something I’d like to see.

How do you feel about my Saros idea now? 😁

I know it's going to take alot to get him but... well if you're "all in" then might as well, right? 🤷
