While Grans is 1-2 years ahead developmentally his upside is lower as a bottom pair special teams guy.
If the AHL options dont work we got Jayden Struble's Rights and he's got motivation to sign in LAK playing with Madden and Hughes again.
Plus LAK have the perfect situation for him to walk into given your LD depth only Anderson is ahead of him as he's an athletic freak who stayed a 2 sport athlete until a couple weeks before his draft combine.

Either way swapping 1/3 LD for Grans makes habs fans trip over themselves to take the deal.
I mean its not like LAK will likely ever have Grans as a full time starter anyways , but they do need LD(and we need 2 gone by June 1st )
