I doubt Yzerman trades with Dubas. Stevie is very close to Holland. Remember how Dubas dicked Holland around when they were negotiating compensation for Zach Hyman's rights before he became a UFA? So Kenny could sign him for 8 years instead of 7.

They never agreed and I think it rubbed Holland the wrong way. Word gets around and I'm guessing Yzerman heard Holland tell him about it. I'm guessing neither Kenny or Stevie will be dealing with Dubas.

I'm likely grasping at straws here. LOL

But generally speaking GM's like dealing with GM's they trust. Stevie has a few of them like Kenny, Nill, Armstrong, Brisebois and Verbeek. Beeker won't be buying so I don't think there will be a trade with him. Army is re-tooling so same thing.

But in the summer look for Stevie to do business with his buddies.
