Jets arent contenders, they are a team with no direction. They wont go for it nor will they do a rebuild.

Cause two top 4 dmen were traded yesterday, one with term and one with RFA control, both were traded for fairly reasonable prices and neither had trade protection so Chevy/Jets fans/TNSE defenders can't use that excuse.

I can't believe Chevy didn't make the Chycrun trade, just another miss in a loooooooonnnnnnnggggggg list of misses by the Jets organization.

I'm no fan of Chevy, but I got to defend him here. Clearly Arizona wanted no money back, and I imagine he floated Pionk to make the financial, and lineup space for Chychrun, and Arizona wasn't interested in taking back salary, so he was handcuffed.

Chychrun would have only worked with moving out Pionk sadly.

Jets had cap space to acquire Chycrun without sending money out so that excuse doesn't fly.

Demote Samberg who's still waivers exempt and also send down Capobianco, keep Stanley as the #7 dman if they're worried about losing him on waivers. Insanity that they lost Kovacevic to keep Capobianco, what a moronic move that was.
Can bring Samberg back up for the playoffs and slot him in if someone isn't performing or gets injured.
