I think signing Barbashev for 3rd line role between the 2 Russian kids would be worth it if we can get him for around 3m. I think OEL buy out is probably a year or two too early plus him on the bottom pairing isn't the worst thing unless we can trade one of Boeser/Garland for a Defense improvement

Meh. Blues pass. They’ll want Vrana and KK to play top 6 and increase their value to sell next year again and then be competitive in 24-25. Snugs is a RW and Patel will likely slide over when Bolduc comes up and starts at LW. Would expect to see both after the deadline next year

At one point, Blues may have been interested but we got our wingers and we need a 2C now if anything.

Garland may/may not be worth his Garland. To expect a team give up picks for him seems a stretch. Other teams have cap issuers too.
