Description
Before you say Leafs Biased on Matthews Winning selke do you see star players ever blocking shots like Matthews, do you ever see Star players playing physical like Matthews he plays a full 200 foot game and in my opinion the only other player like that is Pettersson and Bergeron. Barkov doesn't hit or Block shots and even Matthews has more takeaways then barkov and a better plus minus then Pettersson, Barkov, Lindholm who are all Selke contenders

Matthews has a better TK/GVA ratio, more blocked shots, more takeaways, Average ice-time, hits, goals, assists, points, forecheck chances

Ya, leafs bias. Blocked shots is a small part of an equation. Matthews should be a finalist, but bergeron likely a unanimous winner.

Matthews doesn't play on the PK. He won't get serious consideration without that.

Probably a margin of 10 to 1 at the very least.

Go bet on it. You could probably get 20 to 1.

I just can’t give serious consideration for an award like the Norris to players who were on awful teams so just can’t do it with Karlsson so I would give it to Morrisey

But I will add if Buffalo makes the playoffs (which they probably won’t thanks to Dallas beating the ever living s*it out of them) I would be good with giving it to Dahlin
