I'd think Habs accept. With Farrell and Roy coming in and a lot of elite centers in the top of the draft, Beck is going to be missed, but not for long. I'd also add that Mesar is available.

Beck isn't necessarily good enough to make the roster so he won't be missed much, Dvorak can be replaced by one of the younger players. The Frorida 1st has not much chance to be 1st overall. Habs accept

Why would we give away the first and Beck? Mesar is a player I’m willing to part with in a trade but why does anyone want Dubois? We don’t need him. Be patient and build the team the right way.

Im a Beck guy but from a business POV your logic is flawed.
It doesnt matter if you or i want Dubois , cause i dont at all.
But i've accepted it as MB and KH have both been open about trying to make moves to get him to MTL.

That said his rights value to start the year before the career high numbers might have been Beck, Dvorak @50% off or not included at all and FLA's 1st might have got things done.
But now im not sure Beck is even good enough solo as WPG is trying to Win now with major leaders UFA's the year after .
If they get fleeced on PLD after a career high season and screw their team tehn Schifele , Wheeler, and Hellebuyck among others wont re-sign.

To me including Dvorak means this deal isnt enough, atleast including him at 50% games WPG options to flip him and make up for MTL cheaping out.
But make no mistake any non ELC contract better be able to contribute or they will not be taken by WPG even if MTL pays them as they're trying to contend while losing PLD.

I actually have great debates with one of them Windjammer who drove home the fact MTL ignores WPG's position.
Their Cap and where they're at with the UFA's they have coming up their window is this and next year before a forced Retool as they dont have the cap to sign them all even at a heavy discount.
MTL would be robbing them of that and forcing a retool/rebuild years early.

Our Goal has to be Replacing PLD which Beck does 100% as his low end and high end is where Dubois capped out anyways but he's an Ambedexterous Faceoff Center among other things that make him such a valuable add for WPG . The fact he was final cut at Camp with Mesar tells me he'll be up sooner then later

Fixing their Defensive Depth so it resembles a TBL ,COL or any Champion and not the TML
