Not a chance the Jets take on Anderson without being paid to do so. He'd be the Jets 7th best winger right now and has an awful, awful long term contract.

But also, why are the Habs unloading potentially a top 15 puck in a very deep draft. I'm sure they take the swing on that and sing PLD in UFA.

Montreal will most likely have very little chance of signing PLD as a UFA unless they wait another 6 to 8 years.

The most likely scenario if Dubois won't extend in Winnipeg is that the Jets trade him to a team where he is willing to extend this summer and he signs a contract with that team for somewhere between 5 -7 years. So, it may be a long wait.

I disagree with this trade proposal but Anderson would be second on the Jets in goals for wingers.

All 4 of Wheeler, Connor, Ehlers and Perfetti are better than Anderson hands down, no questions asked.

Niederreiter and Namestnikov are at the same level at least as Anderson and are cheaper and better defensively, so better than Anderson.

That is 6 wingers better, putting Anderson 7th.

Namestnikov is a bum and Perfetti is 12 years old.

Namestnikov has currently been a great add for the jets and Perfetti is already better then Anderson probably ever will be
