Welcome to CapFriendly. Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

Many, many things wrong with this initial effort, so I'll just start with some obvious ones:

Toronto wouldn't trade now for Durzi or Korpisalo because the Maple Leafs couldn't use them in the playoffs. (The same goes for every other player the Maple Leafs are getting in these trades.)

You've undervalued Glass, Wahlstrom (who gets a first), Tippett (who gets a first), Quinn (who gets more than a first), Beck (who would get more than a second and wouldn't have a third attached to him), and Dobson (who would get A LOT more than a first plus).

Kerfoot is useless to the Islanders for the same reason Korpisalo is useless to the Maple Leafs.

The Blues aren't trading Thomas or Neighbours.

Im not sure what planet Murray has value on, but its not this one.

Hes a 4.6mil backup whos always injured, and leafs got him at 33% and a high 3rd rounder for free. I think to get rid of Murray you're adding at least a 3rd and voit and a 5th doesn;t get you probable 30 goal scorer Tippett.

Theres just alot of Leafs junk here on offer, like expiring UFAs in kerfoot, Gustaffsson, ZAR or players no one wanted on waivers like simmonds. Its after the TDL so all those things have ZERO value.

I could see a hypothetical "lets see if we can put a team around the Leafs BIG 4, and stay under cap", but the only way you do that is to fire the whole coaching, mgmt, scouting staff AND having blackmail pictures on all those other GMS for them to even consider these.

Heh. He started with undervaluing Wahlstrom and Tippett, and then went straight to massively overvaluing them once they were Leafs. Classic.
