    Canes have plenty of cap space and will probably resign Andersson. Raanta may not return but they have Kochetkov. No reason why they would trade for Campbell who is making 5M for the next 5 years. Salary needs to be retained if the dump is necessary. At least 50%.

    Canes wouldn’t be a team who would take a cap dump like this. They value flexibility in future years much heavier than a few extra prospects and picks.

    Patrick Marleau, Patches, and Pool Party are perfect examples they used short term cap to gain, never long term cap

    That Montreal trade is really bad for Edmonton.
    Don't know how Campbell gets dumped. I think they are stuck with him and try to improve the defence in front of him.
    Columbus would likely be interested in Kulak but probably not Buffalo.

    There’s nothing to laugh at. We are getting rid of a player we have to get rid of, an AHL defenceman, and an underachieving prospect.
