Next season

Initial Creation Date: Mar. 26, 2023

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Trading Edmundson because of Ghule
Trading Allen because Monty has demonstrated he can do as good as Allen. He’s not a bona fide #1. Also Primeau must clear waivers next year.

I’m not focusing on upcoming draft and I don’t have a big enough sample of Farrell yet.

Two players that I’ve seen play a lot and both impress me is Owen Beck and Logan Mailloux.

Beck will cause departure of Dvorak as he will be an extremely solid 3rd line Centre.

Mailloux is very impressive. He has 25 goals. Finishing 1st overall in OHL for D men. Both will be on team this upcoming season or the following.

Gally’s best years are behind him and we’re stuck with him because of contract. If Ylonen can handle more minutes move him up and Gally down.

Wow what a bargain!!! All of Montreal's hot garbage and you think you'll only have to retain on two of them. Good luck!!

Well I did say to any team for any return. I’m pretty sure I made it abundantly clear I am not expecting much in return. So I think you should have read entire description before jumping on me. But you are honestly the reason why I don’t post much anymore on here.

To add to that. There were 5 players traded of which I acknowledged retainment on 2 of the players. The other 3 are Allen, a cup winner that is excellent in dressing room that is a good #2, that would have better stats on a stronger team. Edmundson, a cup winner that is excellent in the dressing room, that has leadership and is excellent on PK. Both these players still have a market. Lastly Wideman that costs nothing and can be traded for a 7th round or put on waivers. So my post wasn’t that bad and well explained.

Respectfully I strongly disagree with your comment. Prior to trade he was #1 Centre. Since trade he is #2 Centre. He is no longer on PP1 but PP2. He’s still averaging almost a point per game. His game at NHL level will be as a #3rd line Centre. I’ve known Trevor Letowski since he was in Sarnia in 2010 & I was with another team. We also did work together in 2007, with Team Ontario. He tells me, the entire coaching staff are very high on Beck.

I’ve seen many of his away games in the territory I cover. But that’s fine if you don’t like him. I’ve had many people disagree with me over the years but I’ve been scouting since 1999 and I believe Owen will be the Habs 3rd line Centre in a year or two. Plenty of players had amazing Junior stats that never translated to the NHL level.

Plus I can view all his games on my program.

The laziest thing ever and reveals a person's Character as weak.
It says "i expect people to listen but i dont listen to them."
It leads to the clear conclusion you cant be Impartial therefore are a poor judge of right and wrong

To be fair the Sharks are already hot garbage with the worst record in the league behind teams that are trying to tank like Chicago. You'd just add it to the pile of garbage and say thank you.

Your Comment on a Post with an Explanation
You only contribute Ignorance to the Equation.
Then when he nicely repeats himself you post "Too Long Didnt Read"?
If you just read what you commented on you'd have saved the world 3 posts that contribute little to the forum

I mean , if you're getting paid for it sure
Or can add a Gurianov to work on for basically nothing

But yeah overall thats what VAN did in the ARZ trade for OEL i believe it was.
I dont think that what this guy creating the post was doing though

Yeah. You are better off just posting and leaving. Just like twitter, post and ghost.
The amount of meaningful dialogue is almost zero with so many trolls especially on a Montreal ACGM.
There maybe a half dozen ppl I can speak with on here without it denigrating into insults and toilet humour.
It seems many arent over the 2022 TDL whereas many were so anxious to be 'correct' they jumped all over Habs fans after the Petry deal meanwhile the Habs got a much better deal than expected with a top pair PMD in Matheson that is one of the hottest defenseman in the entire league with 20 points his last 22 games but its just confirmation bias as the trolls claim he didnt get a 1st rnd pick so the Petry deal is a fail. You cant convince people to use decorum in such a minefield of ego and lack of tact.

Its good to take long breaks from this place.

I agree with which players are going out, I just don’t think Hughes can work that much magic in one offseason alone. And if we aren’t making the playoffs next season, we might as well hold on to Armia and pray for a comeback season in ordef for his value to climb some.

Unless he takes some magical leap forward he wont be the habs 3C in a year or two that is a ridiculous take. He didnt even make the world junior team when he was showing better in mississauga. He is easily 3 years away from being a 3C he hasnt remotely demonstrated the offensive skills needed to be a 3C in the nhl in the near future.

I know several of petes management and they were told at the time of the trade he wasnt a rental and thats theres 0 chance he is playing for the habs next year.

I agree but Armia is so frustrating. In international events playing for his country he scores amazing goals, with Habs it’s a slow painful movie lol
