Matheson is doing great when he's healthy and has been out 3 different stints this season so far.
Injury wise this guy is Soft as dog sh** and as time goes on that only becomes worse in MTL's system vs our Rivals things get heated and Tkachuk can be a Dbag since Webers not her to humble him.

Petry is simple to figure out and PIT just isnt smart enough to be that simple yet lol.
He's had 3 Partners in MTL maybe 2-3 in EDM and about 30 he's ran through that didnt work
Petry's still requires a Mobile Defensive D with a good shot who can help lead Special Teams.
Its a VERY RANDOM skillset but MTL actually has a few so we can make him a stud again like he was here all but 44 games where he stopped playing for Ducharme hurting his career.

Matheson we've already got the best of to the point even you want him back.
Petry will be easy because Harris is the solution and the solution for Harris to more minutes is Petry

yeah that last deal is what I would've done with this team going forward. It doesn't fit the whole hindsight idea, but we probably would've bought more at the deadline if we had this team and didn't hire hextall
