I think the Kings might accept that. Iafallo isn’t who they’re looking to move, but that would be tough to turn down.

Just took a look at their forward group and there seems to be a surplus

I'm with my friend MNKingsFan here -- despite the fact that some of our fellow Los Angeles brethren think that Iafallo is too valuable to trade, I would accept this offer as the Kings GM. But I'd hold out for the Philly pick.

I don’t disagree. He should be available for the right price.

Seems like a lot for what looks like 3rd line production out of Iafallo

You wouldn't be getting him for his production. You'd be getting him because he'd immediately be the best defensive and two-way forward on your team and one of the two forwards on your first penalty-killing quartet. He'd be an ideal linemate for Cozens and one of the two young RWs.

The Flyers definitely do not do this, huge underpay.

Why trade for Hart when Levi looks like the real deal?

Need 2 goalies and its only 3 games thus far. Play them both and if Levi is the real deal trade hart

I'd rather go after a vet on a 2 yr deal and keep the 1st.

I like this to an extent but I think I'd rather have more production out of a top-six winger. Maybe turn my trade attention to Josh Anderson sending a modified package to the Habs

Oooo, your fellow Buffalo adherents will have you sitting on an inflatable doughnut ring for that one . . .

And no matter how you construct it, the Habs fans will chorus "Add a second."

I read somewhere that Buffalo basically told Levi his road to the NHL would be fast as long as he proved he belonged and so far so good. Getting Hart would be expensive and it would be a move that contradicts what they’ve (apparently) told Levi.

By expensive I mean, it probably costs them 14 and another prospect. I doubt Philly trades their franchise goalie away for just the 14.

I understand that, but that's not enough for a 24 year old goalie with over 200 games of experience who hasn't even entered his prime yet. He carries this Flyers team some nights, he has all the tools and it's really not hard to see. He's top 10 in shots seen and saves, with 10 less games than most people above him, and still has a .910 sv %. Once Torts jettisons the Deangelos and Provy's (who legit have mailed it in half the season), and adds some competent defensemen, his numbers will only continue to rise.

Going to need to add a lot more. It would start with the 14th overall and probably someone like Rosen or Johnson. But then again you have Devon Levi so it would be completely redundant, the price tag wouldn't be worth it just by already having your "goalie of the future"
