That's too much for the pay to Bertuzzi. Compher has better opportunities to play 2C and maybe even more $$$$ to play elsewhere.
I wonder what Carter's NMC signifies.

I stopped hoping for the right moves a while ago under this clown of a GM.

Don’t stall until the rebuild. Just rip the Band-Aid off. It will go much faster.

But you see the problem is…. The organization and for PR reasons won’t be moving any one of 87-71-58 until they respectively retire so until that happens we really can’t rebuild or we will be too good to win any blue chip prospects and too bad to contend.

I see that. But it’s gonna sting in 4-5 years we’re your stuck in the bottom of the league.

    1. Start drafting good 1st rounders.
    2. Wait for thoses 35+ contracts to expire.
    3. Retire numbers and Inaugurate statues in front of the arena while the full rebuild happens.

No magic. This will be long and painfull.

    Wow. Spot on.

I wish this would had been the reaction of Pens fans last season when they were ecstatic about the resigns, when in reality it was a curse in desguise made for marketing purposes.

Our defense absolutely stinks. I love all the players you signed, but were toast next year no matter who we get. So yeah this is good, but it wouldn't be a cup contending team. Much less a playoff contending team. We need to pack it up and rebuild.
