I doubt Buffalo trades Rosen in a deal for a rental and a third line left wing. That’s not meant to be mean, but if Buffalo trades him I have to assume they will want to add a top four d man with term.

Kings aren’t moving these players for cap space. Petersen and Walker, would be there starting point. Then it’s more likely they move Arvidsson as he has the least term and worth more now than what the Kings paid for him.

Gavrikov has proven he plays best with Roy, reupping him and Korpi will be a priority . iafallo has clicked with every line.

I'd be surprised if they moved either of these players, but that's a good trade. Sabres hammer "yes"

Los Angeles is third in the League in power-play percentage but fifth in net percentage, so scoring goals on the power play isn't in our top 5 "areas of need," never mind the fact that Rosen has never played a game in the NHL, so it's a little premature to characterize this half-a-point-in-the-AHL player as a "power play sniper." Moreover, replacing Iafallo with a forward is an odd idea, inasmuch as even without him, we'll have 15 forwards under contract in training camp competing for playing time there.

Matt Roy is our best defensive defender, the kind every serious Stanley Cup contender needs, and we fully expect him to re-sign with us. We won't be trading him for futures (unless you consider Matt Samuelsson a future.)

It will be interesting to see whether Ryan Johnson becomes a free agent in August. There are rumors out here that he will, and sign with either Anaheim or Los Angeles.

That is the way it looks. Other Minnesota players signing
